A4276/S2598 – Ballot Cure Act — gave New Jerseyans the right to have their ballot count despite signature discrepancies by providing a curing process.
A4320/S2633 – VBM Education Bill — requires the Secretary of State to provide voter education and rights through revised Voters Bill of Rights language, prevented voters from electioneering or intimidation at the polls from wearing campaign merchandise, and removed the postmark requirement for the receipt of VBM ballots within 48 hours of close of polls.
A4475/S2580 – Ballot Drop Box Act — requires at least 10 secure ballot drop boxes in each county with 24/7 camera security.
S587/A649 – New Voter Empowerment Act — allows 17-year-olds to vote in the primary election if they turn 18 on or before the November general election.
S3123/A4782 – Community Solar — allows for low and moderate income families to self-attest to their income when applying for community solar and also increases the annual minimum capacity of the Community Solar Energy Program to develop 225 megawatts of community solar projects prior to June 2024, an additional 225 megawatts prior to June 2025, and an additional 150 megawatts per year thereafter.
